The main purpose of this project is conversion from a hard surface to a soft surface. The soft surface is capable of creating different kind of possibilities. On the other hand the hard surface layer can play a role of sustaining and forming the soft surface. For instance the caterpillar nests in trees which can shape and protect the nest. Also the webs of caterpillar can create a cover and a safe place in that regards. These two antithetical or opposite concepts in this project in fact can complete each other and gives us a sense of understanding. Soft surface is transparent toward a public space and the hard layer is guiding us toward frontiers of this project.
